Thiamine:

Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is a catalyst for several mitochondrial enzymes and is also required for the synthesis of DNA and RNA. Thiamine deficiency, also known as beriberi, can compromise neurological function and cardiac health. A severe thiamine deficiency can cause seizures, psychosis, congestive heart failure, memory loss, and abnormalities in eye movements and gait.
